Part 3: The Great Catnip Dream

The next morning, Downey was still thinking about his big idea. He paced the windowsill, tail twitching. If he couldn’t drive the tractor himself, he would need another plan.
That’s when he spotted his human heading toward the barn. Downey’s heart leapt. If anyone could start the tractor, it was them! He had to act fast.

With a determined meow, he raced to the barn, Maggie close behind. As his human climbed into the tractor seat, Downey leapt up beside them, purring loudly. He placed his paws on their arm and looked toward the field, then back at them, as if trying to send a message.
His human chuckled, scratching his ears. “What is it, Downey? You want to go for a ride?”
Downey meowed excitedly. He watched as the engine roared to life. The big wheels began to turn, and they rumbled forward. The wind ruffled his fur as they rolled toward the field. He was doing it—he was finally on a tractor adventure!

Later that day, as his human tilled a small patch of soil, Downey sat proudly on the fence post, watching. This was the start of something big. A catnip garden was coming to life, all thanks to his grand idea.
Maggie nudged him. “Looks like you found your purpose, tractor cat.”

Downey purred, tail curling happily. He had many more adventures ahead, but for now, he had exactly what he wanted—the start of his very own catnip paradise.
